Marlon Pollard, a standout defensive back from San Bernardino Cajon, honored a friendly bet that he won Saturday night.
Pollard was shooting pool with Bruins safety Rahim Moore at a recruiting party, when Moore offered a wager, according to Pollard’s mother, Rachael Pollard.
‘He jokingly said, ‘If I win this game, you have to commit to come here,’ ‘ Rachael Pollard said. ‘I was a little worried about that and Marlon was down five balls for a while. Then he came back and won.’
The Bruins still pocketed Pollard, who announced Saturday night he would go to UCLA. The Bruins also landed Billy Sanders, a top tight end from Idaho.
