Never mind campus: Stephen Strasburg to hold news conference at Scott Boras’ office

Not long after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Stephen Strasburg is expected to be announced as the first pick in the annual baseball draft.

The San Diego State star will hold a news conference at 5:30 p.m. Strasburg will not meet with the media on campus or at his family home, the traditional settings for such gatherings.

Instead, according to a news release tonight from the office of agent Scott Boras, Strasburg will hold his news conference in ‘the main lobby of the Boras Corporation offices.’
