Ducks right wing Dan Sexton will have surgery Thursday to repair a broken nose and is expected to be out of the lineup for two weeks.
Sexton suffered the injury during the first period of Saturday’s 5-4 loss to Detroit when he was hit by a shot off the stick of the Red Wings’ Ruslan Salei.
Sexton, 23, has yet to score a goal this season. Last season, in 41 games with the Ducks, he had nine goals and 10 assists.
