Edgar Castellanos, 19, a Latino man, was fatally shot in the 2300 block of Lake Shore Avenue in Echo Park about 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 9.

Police said the gunman walked up to Castellanos and shot him. He was found lying on the driveway of a home with two gunshot wounds to his head, according to Det. Pjai Morris of LAPD’s Northeast Division. He said Castellanos was a documented gang member.
