Dominique Blackman threw a 46-yard touchdown pass to Keenan Smith and an 11-yarder to Morrell Presley to lead second-seeded Carson (10-2), which led seventh-seeded Banning, 14-6, at the half, to a 27-12 Championship Division quarterfinal victory at Carson.

The Pilots finish their season at 9-3, with two losses coming against Marine League-rival Carson.
