Baseball: Even more Crespi college commitments

The Crespi college commitment list keeps growing...

According to the team’s website, second baseman Alex Gutman, pictured, has committed to Colorado, pitcher Harry Grace has committed to Cal Lutheran and outfielder Alex Diaz has committed to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

By the way, E.C. McSweeney tossed a complete-game, four-hit shutout in the Celts’ 6-0 victory over St. Francis this afternoon. I really thought St. Francis would put up more of a fight this week, but it looks as if Crespi is really playing to its strengths heading into its final cluster of contests with Alemany and first-place Notre Dame.

It should be fun watching this team down the stretch.
