Football: It’s time for your Long Beach Poly history lesson

The Long Beach Press-Telegram had a nice article today highlighting the prestigious history of the Long Beach Poly football program. It’s definitely worth a read, especially if you want to find how the Jackrabbits overcame their earliest rival -- the school debate team.

Oh, and in case you’ve forgotten, top-seeded Poly will work off its Thanksgiving Day feast by playing Esperanza at Placentia Valencia HS in the Pac-5 Division quarterfinals on Saturday.
