Football: Crenshaw blocks punt, gets score

Le’Jon Baker of Crenshaw came up with a blocked punt with 1:13 left in the third quarter, picked up the ball and went seven yards for a touchdown, and the Cougars have taken a 22-21 lead over Lakewood.

Crenshaw had a first-and-goal from the four-yard line but couldn’t score against Lakewood. A pitchout to DeAnthony Thomas was fumbled and recovered on the Lakewood 15.

But Crenshaw’s defense forced a punt, and the Cougars came through with the blocked punt.
