The Cinderella story continues.
Unseeded Compton has an 11-10 lead over second-seeded San Diego Lincoln after the first quarter of a fairly sloppy Southern California Division II regional championship.
Both teams are missing lots of free throws and tip-ins around the basket. Cliff Sims Jr. and Dazjae Hill have each made an early three-pointer for the Tarbabes.
Norman Powell has seven points for the Hornets, who are shooting only 17.6% to Compton’s 23.1%.
