Mission Viejo will be advancing to the Pac-5 Division championship game.

The top-seeded Diablos have put the game away on Austin Reuland‘s 10-yard reverse for a 42-21 lead over Mater Dei with 3:20 left in the fourth quarter.

Linebacker Tre Madden intercepted a pass on the Monarchs’ ensuing possession and Mission Viejo has the ball back near midfield.
