The Pasadena city attorney has filed a misdemeanor battery charge against former Pasadena Muir football coach Ken Howard.
The charge stems from a Sept. 28 incident in which Howard allegedly slammed a student against a locker while performing a bag search, according to the Pasadena Star-News.
Howard was placed on administrative leave after the incident and relieved of his duties as football coach.
