He will be only a seventh-grader this fall, but Justin Campbell of Simi Valley is already recognized as one of the best baseball players for his age group.
The 12-year-old is one of 18 players selected for the inaugural USA 12U national baseball team that will compete July 15-29 in Taiwan.
Pitching is what Campbell does best. He’s the younger brother of Simi Valley High pitching standout Matt Campbell, who will be a senior this fall.
