Sylmar is going to be a team to watch over the next three seasons building around sophomore quarterback Clarence Williams.
The Spartans just picked up receiver Anthony Muse, who played at Alemany as a freshman before playing at Corona Centennial last season.
Returning at receiver is Danny Mendoza, who averaged 21.2 yards per catch and scored six touchdowns last season as a sophomore.
The versatile Williams passed for more than 1,500 yards as a freshman starter on varsity.
