Newport Beach Chosen Rowing Training Site

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati, Newport Beach and Seattle have been selected as training centers for 1988 U.S. Olympic rowing team, it was announced here.
An East Coast city is to be added to the list, according to Cincinnati businessmen.
Candidates for the team who train in the Cincinnati area are to be begin their practice sessions this summer on the East Fork of the Little Miami River and on the Ohio River at the Coney Island amusement park. Both sites are near Cincinnati.
Officials of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce announced Cincinnati’s selection.
