Griffin Extends Weekday Sales Hours to 9 p.m.

Griffin Homes, a Calabasas-based firm, will extend its weekday sales office hours to 9 p.m. at four of its new home developments in Southern California. New home sales offices have traditionally closed at 5 or 6 p.m. on weekdays.
Beginning Feb. 5, sales offices and model complexes will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays at the firm’s Autumn Wood and Summer Place projects in Simi Valley and at Country Park Villas and Vista Moncayo in Phillips Ranch, Pomona. Weekend hours will remain 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Car dealers do it, department stores do it, nearly everybody does it,” said Sandra Kulli, vice president of marketing, about the extended hour program. “But home builders have traditionally adhered to daytime hours. As a result, the vast majority of buyers do their home shopping on weekends and sales representatives’ talents are under-utilized.”
