Sandra Lunt, co-editor of the Rio Hondo College student newspaper, El Paisano, has won a Pacific Coast Press Club $200 scholarship for scholastic achievement in the study of journalism at the junior college level. A Whittier resident, she has won three Southern Region writing awards from the Journalism Assn. of Community Colleges and will be a chairwoman at its state convention in April.
