Woman Leaps Off Hotel, Dies

A 43-year-old woman leaped to her death today from the 27-story Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office reported.
The victim, whose name was withheld, landed on the sixth-floor roof of an adjoining building. A spokeswoman for the hotel said it was not known whether the woman was a guest at the luxury hotel. The death plunge occurred at 7:21 a.m.
