Fullerton Wins 13th Consecutive SCC Title

The Fullerton College women’s basketball team beat Santa Ana, 64-44, Wednesday night to clinch its 13th consecutive South Coast Conference championship. Diane Rockwood scored 20 points and Debbie Drlik added 16 for the Hornets (14-1 in conference, 24-4 overall).
In other South Coast Conference action:
Saddleback 85, Golden West 76--Sophomore guard Heather Estey scored a career-high 38 points and had 7 assists to lead the Gauchos (11-4, 22-6) past the Rustlers. Sandy Taylor added 14 points and Lisa Jones had 10.
Orange Coast 95, Mt. San Antonio 56--Tami Parker scored 27 points and had 13 rebounds, and Mary Beth Thobe added 17 points for the host Pirates, who improved their record to 12-3 in conference and 21-6 overall.
