Actor, Dancer Join Cultural Center

SAN PEDRO — Patricia Parker and Pat Argo have been appointed to the Angels Gate Cultural Center’s Performing Arts Department.

Parker, who was born and raised in Brazil and now lives in San Pedro, will conduct a series of screen acting workshops at the center, 3601 S. Gaffey St. Parker has appeared in numerous Brazilian soap operas, commercials and films.

Argo, a professional dancer, will teach ballet at the center. She previously taught dance at Dartmouth College, California State University, San Diego, and the University of San Diego.
