The UCLA Medical Center Auxiliary will honor Dr. Rosemary Dobson Leake with its Woman of Science Award and Frances McKinney Wiley, R.N., with its Golden Bruin Award.
The honors will be presented by Dean Sherman Mellinkoff of the UCLA School of Medicine at a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the California Room of the Faculty Center.
Leake, who will be honored for her research achievements, is a professor of pediatrics at UCLA and chief of the neonatology division at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center.
Wiley, a clinical nurse specialist with the Division of Hematology-Oncology, Department of Pediatrics, is being honored for her professional work and patient advocacy efforts.
