Junior College HIGHLIGHTS : Cermak Holds Bakersfield to 2 Hits for 6-0 Moorpark Victory

Nancy Cermak pitched a two-hit shutout and collected two hits Friday to lead Moorpark College to a non-league 6-0 victory at home over Bakersfield College.
Cermak had four strike outs and improved her record to 9-3 while improving the Raider record to 10-7.
BASEBALL
L.A. City 3, Valley 1
L.A. City College got only three hits but capitalized on seven Valley College errors in a non-league game at Valley.
Valley, 5-6-1, scored its only run in the eighth inning on a double by pinch hitter Bob Hernandez and a single by designated hitter Paul Cottrell.
City, 3-6-2, scored single runs in the third, sixth, and eighth innings to give Terry Glover his first win of the season. Estrada DeLorenzo took the loss.
