Delegation to Visit Whittier

WHITTIER — Members of the first official labor delegation from China to the United States will visit the Unitarian Universalist Society of Whittier during its services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Uptown Branch YMCA, 12817 E. Hadley St.
The delegation of five, representing the All China Federation of Trade Unions and two automobile plants in Beijing and Nanjing, will discuss the workers’ role in China.
The All China Federation of Trade Unions was invited here by labor officials to study U.S. labor conditions and laws.
A question-and-answer session will follow the discussion.
