HYANNIS, Mass. — The 17-year-old son of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy was held up at a convenience store and robbed of $7, police said today. A suspect, Dwayne Hopkins, 19, was arrested on a robbery charge.
Patrick J. Kennedy was not injured in the robbery Sunday, a Kennedy family spokesman said. He said Kennedy was returning home from a Chamber of Commerce dinner when he stopped to buy doughnuts and apple juice at the store.
