Our Readers Write : San Francisco Tower

While I was interested to read your comments (Sam Hall Kaplan column, March 31) on Mr. Johnson’s most recent tower in San Francisco, I was equally disappointed that you didn’t credit the artist whose “statues . . . lend the office building a personality, if not a touch of class.”

For your reference, these statyues are the work of a New York artist named Muriel Castanis. Your crediting of the works you compliment would, I’m sure, be a valuable step in affording her greater exposure in the Southern California region.
