Three teen-agers were injured Thursday when the car they were riding in crashed into a parked tractor in Garden Grove.
Cecilia Reyes, 16, of Orange, was reported in critical condition with head injuries at UCI Medical Center Thursday. The driver, Debbie St. Andre, 18, of Irvine, was in serious condition with two fractured ankles and facial fractures at Fountain Valley Community Hospital. The second passenger, Scott Garrison, 18, of Garden Grove, was in fair condition with facial injuries at UCI Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.
St. Andre was driving a Karmann Ghia west on Trask Avenue approaching Newhope Street about 4:13 a.m. when she struck the tractor, which was parked legally, according to Sgt. Paul Prince.
Paramedics had to use prying equipment to free Garrison from the wreckage.
An investigation is continuing, Prince said.
