Woman Shot in Head at Anaheim Apartment

An Anaheim woman was in stable condition Saturday after being shot in the head by an unknown assailant late Friday at her apartment, police said.
Anaheim Police Sgt. Michael Webb said officers responded to a call at 11:25 p.m. Friday at the apartment in the 800 block of S. Philadel St., where the woman had been arguing with an unidentified person.
The officers found Cecilia Duran, 29, shot once in the head. She was treated at the scene before being transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange, Webb said.
