Olympic League : Sutton Picks Up His First Victory

Sophomore Daron Sutton pitched his first complete game to lead Capistrano Valley Christian to a 10-2 win over Brethren Friday.
Sutton allowed six hits and struck out six to get his first victory of the year.
Eagle right fielder Bobby Stephens was 2 for 4 with three RBIs. It was his two-run home run in the third inning that sparked a five run inning for the Eagles. The home run was Stephen’s seventh of the season.
In other Olympic League action:
Whittier Christian 9, Orange Lutheran 5--The Heralds scored four runs in the fifth and three in the sixth and clinched the league title. Kraig Johnson (2 for 3 and an RBI) led the hitting attack and Kevin Chavez struck out nine for Whittier Christian (11-1, 15-1). Alex Lehrer hit a three-run homer for the Lancers (8-4).
