Hey, I know it’s a bit after the fact (“Can Network TV Be Saved?,” Calendar Q, April 14), but these are good. And besides, it took me an hour and a half to throw them together, which is an hour longer than it takes to put together a real network show.
“The William Casey Market Report”--The head of the CIA shares his unique perspective with the average investor.
“Escargot”--A six-part historical documentary on the U.S. Postal Service.
“Kickback”--A game show for those congressmen who have trouble making ends meet on $69,000 a year. The congressmen are approached by a variety of special-interest groups and lobbyists and must pick out the undercover FBI agent.
P.S. Why don’t you separate Calendar Letters into two categories: People who take life seriously and people who don’t.
