Fire gutted a Chinese restaurant in Woodland Hills early Thursday, causing $225,000 damage but no injuries, fire officials said.
Seven Los Angeles City fire companies were sent to the Mandarin Dragon at 19601 W. Ventura Blvd. after a 5:08 a.m. alarm. They brought the flames under control in 15 minutes, city fire spokesman Officer Larry Ford said.
Damage has been estimated at $125,000 to the building and $100,000 to its contents, Ford said.
