A 25-year-old Chula Vista man was killed Monday when his motorcycle collided with a car in Chula Vista, the county coroner’s office reported.
Daniel J. Schott was pronounced dead at 5:55 a.m. at Bay Hospital & Medical Center after suffering extensive head and spinal cord injuries. Schott was traveling east on J Street when he hit a car that was turning left from J Street onto Interstate 5, authorities said.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the car, police said.
