Bread Price Up in Bolivia

LA PAZ, Bolivia — The Bolivian government said Tuesday it is raising the price of bread 75%, after a 40% devaluation of the peso and a 50% increase in the price of fuel. The government last week ordered employers to raise wages sixfold to offset inflation of 566.5% for the first four months of the year.
