The Beverly Hills-based health-care company said it will spend $3 million to open the home health-equipment stores in Van Nuys, Anaheim, San Diego and Houston to serve the burgeoning home health-care market. American Medical International currently has four stores in California, Florida and Texas that sell and rent some 552 kinds of medical equipment ranging from traction units to blood pressure sphygmomanometers.
