An executive search firm hired by the South Bay Union High School District will receive public comments on the choice of a successor to Supt. Hugh Cameron at a community meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the district offices, 200 N. Pacific Coast Highway.
The school board voted April 24 to reassign Cameron to the post of personnel director in an effort to resolve a controversy between him and Trustee Armando Acosta. Cameron is continuing as superintendent until his successor is found by the district’s consultant, Arthur Young of Los Angeles.
