A 32-year-old man whose motorcycle collided with a car on May 28 has died of injuries suffered in the Tustin accident, officials said Monday.
Walter Predmore was eastbound on 1st Street near Tustin Ave. at about 9:15 p.m. when his motorcycle hit a car turning left in front of him, according to Tustin police. Predmore and a passenger, Shaun Mayo of Riverside, were taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. Mayo remains hospitalized.
Predmore, who apparently had no permanent address, remained in intensive care until his death Sunday at 10:36 p.m. According to the Orange County coroner’s office, the extent of Predmore’s injuries and the cause of his death were not known, but an autopsy was to be performed Monday.
Tustin police are still investigating the accident and have not yet decided whether to charge the other driver in Predmore’s death.
