The Long Beach Community College Board of Trustees voted unanimously Tuesday to begin a $3.7-million renovation program for the aging facility.
The board voted to begin upgrading the campus with an initial $1 million, all the money now on hand for the project. Once additional money is raised from the sale of excess property or from state funds, the renovation will be completed, campus officials said.
