Blakeley Is Sonora’s New Football Coach

Gordon Blakeley, baseball coach at Sonora High School, has also been named the Raiders’ football coach.
Blakeley, 31, replaces Vince Senik, who resigned at the end of the 1984 season. Blakeley will retain his position as baseball coach at Sonora and thus becomes the only coach of two major varsity sports in Orange County.
