Charles S. Vogel, 52, former Los Angeles Superior Court judge who resigned in 1977 to resume the practice of law, has been elected president of the Los Angeles County Bar Assn. The largest voluntary attorney group in the nation, the 17,000-member association also chose Donald P. Baker, president-elect; Larry R. Feldman, senior vice president, and Margaret M. Morrow, vice president, for one-year terms. Elected trustees for two-year terms were attorneys Allan Browne, Jeffrey L. Freedman, Patrick M. Kelly, Cheryl White Mason, Robin Meadow, Neal S. Millard, Ann Ruth Grant and Federico Castelan Sayre. Vogel replaces Patricia Phillips, the group’s first woman president.
