NEWBURY PARK, Calif. — A slogan from a popular Los Angeles radio program--”EGBOK”--was a rallying theme for the family of recently released TWA hijacking hostage Thomas W. Murry.
Murry referred to “EGBOK”--an acronym for “Everything’s going to be OK”--in a letter from Beirut during the time he was held by Muslim radicals, writing, “As Ken and Bob say, ‘EGBOK.’ I bet they have never heard that from a Beirut hostage.”
“EGBOK” has been the slogan for the daily early morning show hosted by Ken Minyard and Bob Arthur on KABC Radio.
