American Trolley Lines Inc. began downtown shuttle bus service Monday. The buses, which run every 20 minutes, travel a loop around the business district, along Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard, Main Street, Barnard Way and Ocean Avenue.
The privately run service has two buses that are designed to look like trolley cars. They will every day except Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fare is 50 cents.
