I am so glad Barbara Bel Geddes will be back as Miss Ellie. Replacing her was a terrible mistake. Miss Ellie should have been sent on a round-the-world trip or something. No offense to Donna Reed but she just was not Miss Ellie. Just as nobody could ever be Fletcher Christian in “Mutiny on the Bounty” after Clark Gable, the role of Miss Ellie belongs to Barbara alone. And with Patrick Duffy gone, Barbara will be badly needed in “Dallas.”
