The Southern California Alliance for Survival will unveil what it is calling the “world’s largest peace symbol” in a ceremony at noon Tuesday at Palisades Park.
Speakers will include Dr. Samuel J. Sperling of Los Angeles Physicians for Social Responsibility, City Councilman James P. Conn and Miguel Pulido, president of the Southern California Alliance for Survival. The ceremony will also include music and poetry recitals. The peace symbol will be on display until July 17.
