A 100-year history of San Diego--from Old Town, to New Town, to the modern skyline-can be seen in a six-minute slide--sound presentation at Great American First Savings Bank branch, 1110 Rosecrans St., through Aug. 7.
Using 215 slides, the presentation includes pictures of the early waterfront, construction of the Hotel del Coronado and scenes from the World War II era.
The film, funded by the bank, will be on display throughout the community before becoming a permanent part of the Museum of San Diego History, scheduled to open in Balboa Park at the end of the year.
