Work Slated on La Jolla Project

Construction is scheduled to begin early in October on Bird Rock Center at Bird Rock Avenue and La Jolla Boulevard in La Jolla. It will contain 7,600 square feet of retail space and 12 residential apartments.
The architect, Simpson & Gerber of La Jolla, has designed it in “pre-modern” architectural style with red tile roofs, terraces, fountains and flowers for a Mediterranean atmosphere. The developer is Bird Rock Partnership.
