Los Angeles-based Bergen Brunswig, a distributor of health service and consumer products, said it has paid an undisclosed amount of cash to buy Cibcoa Inc. of Northbrook, Ill. The purchase is Bergen’s fourth acquisition in the last 12 months and comes several months after Bergen pulled out of a planned merger with National Intergroup, a Pittsburgh-based steel company.
