Whoever proofs/edits Calendar did not do his/her job with the Sept. 8th cover (“Masterworks of the Mayas”).
You see, the word Mayas does not exist. The correct title should’ve been “Masterworks of the Maya,” without the s .
Maya is plural for Mayan (individual or race), as American or Americans. You wouldn’t call an American an Americas, would you?
Also, the top illustration is not of a diety but a deity .
