I commend the Tournament of Roses Assn. for selection of grand marshal of the 1986 Rose Parade. Humorist Erma Bombeck and I attended the same Pac 10 university.
Maybe with one of our alumna being so involved with the Rose Bowl, our football team will get more inspired.
This is a first for Erma Bombeck, a first for a journalist. Maybe this year will be a first for our alma mater, Arizona State.
