Gloria Diaz has been named principal of B. F. Maxson Elementary School, replacing Robert Caraveo, who was transferred to Willard Payne Elementary School. Diaz moved to the Mountain View School District in El Monte from the ABC Unified School District in the Cerritos area, where she began her teaching career in 1978.
