Ametek will buy a division of Bausch & Lomb.

The companies reported that Ametek will pay $46 million for Bausch & Lomb’s Houston Instrument division. The acquisition of Houston Instrument, which produces professional graphic plotters and desk-top plotters for personal computers, will include the division’s headquarters and manufacturing plant in Austin, Tex., and a factory in Belgium.
