The body of an unidentified woman, apparently beaten and stabbed to death, was found Thursday morning on a lawn near an elementary school in Logan Heights.
The victim was a black woman in her mid-20s, about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing about 134 pounds. The body was found by a passer-by in the 5000 block of Guymon Street about 7 a.m.
