These are perilous times. Which got Outtakes wondering: In a fair fight to save our way of life, who would emerge as the Greatest American Hero?
The candidates:
Commie-fighter Matt Hunter, as played by Chuck Norris in “Invasion U.S.A.”
Special Forces he-man John Matrix--Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Commando.”
Perennially misunderstood G.I. John Rambo--Sylvester Stallone in “Rambo.”
Qualities to consider: Commitment to American ideals. Ability to live off the land. Competence with weaponry and improvising. Muscles and physical beauty. Can withstand pain. Even tempered. Wit and personality. Ability to speak a line.
In 25 words or less, pick your Greatest American Hero and tell us why he would be best to save America from evil invaders.
